Abstract: By this work, we designed and fabricated a temperature monitoring sensor including engineering strategies aimed at enhancing cathode performance by a mechanical hydrogen sensor for early safety warning in electric vehicles. Since generation of H2 due to the reaction of lithium metal and polymers is earlier than the “thermal runaway,” therefore, detection of hydrogen even with negligible amounts by a sensor can be help us as a warning sign. By this work, we investigated sensing mechanism of H2 sensor through the resistive RT H2 detector for early safety warning of LIBs. We also used advanced Techniques for Internal Temperature monitoring in our fabricated sensor. By this work we synthesized various composites with several transition metals mole fraction through sol gel method for cathode materials using situ designing and manufacturing as well as testing of a temperature monitoring sensor. We found composite with structure of LiNi3/18 Co6/18Mn3/18Fe3/18O2 composite has high efficiency and best performance in viewpoint of initial capacity, cyclability, charge capacity, and discharge capacity among these ten composites, as well as safety warning for electric vehicles usage compared with other samples in those cathode materials.

Abstract: In this work, the high potential properties of LiCrO2, as an isostructural material with LiCoO2 was considered for cathode material in lithium ion batteries (LIBs). In addition the lattice parameters and unit-cell position of this compound has also been checked for combination with the structural of LiCoO2 through refinements of X-ray diffraction patterns and bulk modulus through Birch–Murnaghan equation. The objective of this research is to prepare a composite with lower cost and better cyclability than the other cathode materials in lithium ion battery. A ternary composition with high efficiency and low cost containing LiCrO2 and LiNi1/2Mn1/2O2, was applied instead of pure LiCoO2 to reduce usage of the percentage Co amount in cathode materials of LiBs, consequently a benefit would be yielded by reducing the cost and removing the toxic of cobalt, the environment will be safe. In this study, we synthesized ten samples from mixture of xLiCrO2, yLiCoO2, and (1 – x – y) LiNi1/2Mn1/2O2 compounds for preparing suitable cathode electrodes with high initial discharge capacity, large cyclability and inexpensive cost instead of traditional cathode materials. As a result by using Raman Analysis, X-ray diffraction, and electrochemical analyzing, we found that the LiNi1/6Mn1/6Cr1/3Co1/3O2 composite has high efficiency and best performance in viewpoint of initial capacity, cyclability, charge capacity, and discharge capacity among these ten composites. After Raman analysis, since X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is an advanced method that evaluates the valence, composition percentages and the empirical formula of the elements, we used these methods for some of the samples.

Abstract: Biological membranes are complex assemblies of many different molecules of which analysis demands a variety of experimental and computational approaches. In this article, we explain challenges and advantages of atomistic Monte Carlo (MC) simulation of lipid membranes. We provide an introduction into the various move sets that are implemented in current MC methods for efficient conformational sampling of lipids and other molecules. This study illustrates a capacitor model of biological cell membrane including 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DMPC), 1,2-dilauroyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DLPC), 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (POPC), 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DPPC), glycerol-phospholibids,1-dodecanoyl-2-tridecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (PC), 1-hexadecanoyl-2-(9Z-octadecenoyl)-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (PE), and 1-stearoyl-2-oleoylsn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (SOPC) structures. The electron density profile models, electron localization function (ELF) and local information entropy have been applied to study the interaction of proteins with lipid bilayers in the cell membrane. The quantum and coulomb blockade effects of different thicknesses in the membrane have also been specifically investigated. It has been exhibited the quantum effects can appear in a small region of the free space within the membrane thickness due to the number and type of phospholipid layers. In addition, from the viewpoint of quantum effects by Heisenberg rule, it is shown the quantum tunneling is allowed in some micro positions while it is forbidden in other forms of membrane capacitor systems. Due to the dynamical behavior of the cell membrane, its capacitance is not fixed which results in a variable capacitor. In presence of the external fields through protein trance membrane or ions, charges exert forces that can influence the state of the cell membrane. This causes to appear the charge capacitive susceptibility that can resonate with self-induction of helical coils; the resonance of which is the main reason for various biological pulses.
