Objective: This study was conducted to examine the relationship between eco anxiety and psychological well-being and emotion regulation skills in health professionals. Material and Methods: The data of the study, which was conducted in a descriptive-relational research design, were collected with an electronic questionnaire (Google Forms) in July-August 2023. The data were collected using a demographic data form created by reviewing the literature (open- and closed-ended questions) and questions related to climate and environment, Eco-Anxiety Scale (EAS), Psychological Well-Being (PWB) and Emotion Regulation Skills Scale (ERRS). Results: It was determined that 87.7% of the participants were female, 49.8% lived in metropolitan areas, 57.6% were nurses, and 94.4% did not receive climate change or environmental education. It was found that as the averages of “fear of other pandemics such as the coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic” and “fear of natural disasters such as earthquakes” increased, eco anxiety increased, and as the averages of “sensitivity to environmental issues” and “warning the environment about environmental pollution” increased, psychological well-being and emotion regulation skills increased. It was determined that the EAS-total scores of those living in the provincial centre and district were significantly higher than those living in the metropolitan area. When the relationship between EAS and PWB and ERRS was analysed, as the total scores of PWB and ERRS increased, the total scores of EAS decreased (p<0.05). Conclusion: In our study, we can say that eco anxiety has an effect on psychological wellbeing and emotion regulation. It is recommended to provide climate change trainings to health professionals and to take part in social responsibility projects to raise awareness and sensitivity on environmental issues.

Objective: A de novo antineoplastic drug was planned to suppress and modulate the Head, Neck, and Oral Cancer. Methods: Using the computational software tools including molecular docking, molecular dynamics (MD), and post-molecular dynamics bond contact analyses, it has been shown that the new drug called ‘’Innovative Head, Neck, and Oral Cancer Suppressor’’, or simply abbreviated as “IHNOCS” is very effective in terms of suppressing and co-modulating TGF-β and KRTAP2-3 together. Result: The drug suppresses the KRTAP2-3 protein activity while also holding onto TGF-β and modulating it to slow down and halt the metastasis. Conclusion: We have effectively created a novel medication using principles of theoretical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and organic chemistry and organic chemistry to inhibit Head, Neck, and Oral Cancer. This medication should further undergo experimental testing in various stages, including in vitro, in vivo, and human clinical phases. It exhibits significant effectiveness in inhibiting the progression of cancer by simultaneously targeting TGF-β and KRTAP2-3, thereby impeding metastasis and suppressing the disease. Objectives: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of osteopathic visceral manipulation (OVM) combined with physical therapy in pain, depression, and functional impairment in patients with chronic mechanical low back pain (LBP). Patients and methods: A total of 118 patients with chronic mechanical LBP were assessed, and 86 who met the inclusion criteria were included in the randomized-controlled study between January 2021 and August 2022. The patients were randomized to either Group 1 (n=43), which underwent physical therapy (5 days/week, for a total of 15 sessions) combined with OVM (2 days/week with three-day intervals), or Group 2 (n=43), which underwent physical therapy (5 days/week, for a total of 15 sessions) combined with sham OVM (2 days/week with three-day intervals). Both groups were assessed before and after treatment and at the fourth week post-treatment. Results: Seven patients were lost to follow-up, and the study was completed with 79 patients (25 males, 54 females; mean age: 46.87±14.12 years; range, 19 to 75 years). Pain, depression, and functional impairment scores were all improved in both groups (p=0.001 for all). This improvement was sustained at week four after the end of treatment. However, improvement in the pain, depression, and functional impairment scores was significantly higher in Group 1 than in Group 2 (p=0.001 for all). Conclusion: The results suggest that OVM combined with physical therapy is useful to improve pain, depression, and functional impairment in patients with chronic mechanical low back pain. We believe that OVM techniques should be combined with other physical therapy modalities in this patient population.
